These Terms of Service govern your use of Cortex and the services offered through makecortex.com. By using Cortex, you agree to these terms.
Use of the service
You may use Cortex only in compliance with applicable law and only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you upload, connect, or transmit through the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activities that occur under it. Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
Connected services
If you connect third-party services such as Google Calendar, you authorize Cortex to access and use the approved data solely to provide the relevant product features. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies.
Intellectual property
Cortex and its software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you upload, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, pose a security or legal risk, or misuse the service.
Disclaimers and liability
Cortex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Cortex after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
